Data controller

SASU By My Taxi, 13 allée des Tournesols, 69120 Vaulx-en-Velin, France, bymytaxi@gmail.com, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected

When you make a booking, we collect:

  • your contact details (phone number and/or email);
  • the pickup and drop-off addresses for the trip;
  • the number of passengers and pieces of luggage, and any options selected (pet, bulky luggage);
  • if paying online, payment details — these are entered directly on the secure page of our provider Stripe and are neither transmitted to nor stored by us.

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used to process your booking, organise the trip, send you a confirmation, and provide customer support, on the basis of performing the transport contract formed by your booking.

Recipients of the data

Depending on the booking method chosen, your data may be shared with:

  • Stripe (online payment), for secure payment processing;
  • Supabase (our database host, within the European Union), to record the booking;
  • Resend (email delivery), to send the confirmation email;
  • Google (address autocomplete via Google Places), when entering trip addresses in the quote form.

These providers may be located outside the European Union; where applicable, the data transfer relies on the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent).

Retention period

Booking-related data is kept for as long as necessary to process it, then archived in accordance with our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations (10 years for invoicing data). Other data is kept for 3 years from the last contact.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, and port your personal data. You can exercise these rights by writing to us at bymytaxi@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (cnil.fr).

This site does not set any audience-measurement or advertising tracking cookies. Only technical cookies strictly necessary for the site to function may be used.
